Project Summary

Triptych Bankside is a group of three buildings, two of which comprise 169 mixed-use high-end residential units, located on the vibrant Southbank near the River Thames and Shakespeare’s Globe. The three buildings are built within a landscaped park setting.

Designed by renowned London architects Squire & Partners and developed by Sons & Co, the Triptych Bankside building’s construction was completed in 2023 and won the Best Mixed-Use Development London category in October 2022.

Project Overview

The team produced 169 packaged utility rooms for both residential towers. Despite not being the largest scale installation we had conducted, it became incredibly complex due to the size of the space allocated for the utility rooms. 

For this project, our team was challenged to produce different-width utility rooms that could accommodate soil vent pipes and MVHR configurations while considering various other unit compositions. The project concluded in October 2021 with 24 different unit configurations.

For this large-scale residential development, our team built the units to fit the spaces required, constructing our largest utility rooms to date at 2,250 mm wide. These units of various sizes all contained the following products: 

  • Heat interface unit
  • MVHR
  • 16-way consumer unit
  • Stopcock
  • PIR-operated lighting
  • Data cabinet
  • Worktop

As the buildings are apart of a luxury large-scale residential development, we had to consider the aesthetics of the building and hide all pipework and electrics, installing covers and hatches over the equipment to ensure the unit complements and enhances the design of the residence. 

This complex build and installation proved successful and showed the Resipoint team’s adaptability and ability to make the best changes to suit the project.
