At Resipoint, we design and manufacture prefabricated utility rooms to match your unique project needs.
Built offsite in a controlled factory environment, each unit arrives ready to install – simplifying onsite coordination, reducing snags, and delivering consistent M&E quality across hundreds of apartments.
What’s inside a Resipoint unit?
Mechanical
Heating, ventilation and hot water systems – for instance Heat Interface Units (HIUs), manifolds, Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery MVHR), and associated pipework.
Electrical
Consumer units, metering, switches, sockets, and all necessary electrical distribution components – pre-installed and coordinated for seamless connection onsite.
Architectural
Doors, panels, and internal finishes – designed to integrate easily within the apartment layout while ensuring durability, ease of access, and a clean, premium aesthetic.
Telecoms
Provision for broadband and communications infrastructure, including routers, ONTs, and cabling – ready for straightforward connection.
Common unit configurations
From our experience of building over 11,000 utility cupboards, our units are based on standardised designs that can be adapted to suit different layouts.
This approach reduces unnecessary complexity while maintaining the flexibility needed to accommodate multiple apartment and unit types.

Prefabricated Utility Rooms (PURs)
Our prefabricated utility rooms are manufactured at our Gloucester facility, where we control every step of the build process:
- Precision CNC machining and pipe bending
- Expert assembly of M&E, ventilation, and telecoms systems
- Multi-stage quality assurance checks
Unlike wall-mounted alternatives, a full PUR completely replaces traditional cupboard construction, acting as a turn-key solution that eliminates the need for on-site fit-outs.
ResiWall: A wall-mounted alternative
For projects where a large number of apartment layouts make full-size cupboards particularly challenging, or where space is constrained and time limited, we offer ResiWall.
ResiWall is a wall-mounted version of our prefabricated utility rooms that provides the same benefits, with the same precision engineering, but can be brought in later in the project.
Why choose prefabrication?
Simplified onsite installation.
Units are delivered ready to position and connect, reducing the need for multiple trades working sequentially within confined spaces.
Consistent quality at scale.
Factory-controlled conditions ensure every unit is built to the same standard, even across hundreds of apartments.
Minimised rework and snagging.
Fully coordinated and tested systems reduce the likelihood of onsite issues and late-stage changes.
Designed for compliance and maintenance.
Every unit is engineered with compliance, access, safety, and long-term serviceability in mind.
